Two Upcoming Events

GlobeMed is screening Nicholas Kristof’s Half the Sky! Head over to Sieg 134 on the 14th from 6:30-8:30pm to watch the film, which will be followed by a discussion panel featuring human rights activists.

Sigma Psi Zeta is having a Domestic Violence Forum on the 15th featuring guest speaker Laura Pavlou, a survivor of domestic violence who has used her experience as a springboard for a career in women’s empowerment. She founded Women’s Wellness and Integrated Social Health (WWISH), which hosts workshops for women to focus on moving from victimization to success. Facebook event here!
